“Best Patent Award” is hosted by Hankook Ilbo (韓國日報; lit. Korea Daily), one of the major daily newspaper in Korea, bi-annually and this is the 13th year running of the program since 2007.

The award winners are selected by Korea Institute of Patent Information (KIPI), Korea Patent Attorneys Association (KPAA) and Hankook Ilbo (Korea Daily) through strict evaluation criteria such as products’ marketability, innovative technologies and company’s business performance.
