What it looks like when BACS™ Tube plays an important role in Smart Factory?
[Pangyo, South Korea] According to IHS Markit, a London-based global research firm, the growth in 5G mobile communications and artificial intelligence (AI) will lead market demand in memory semiconductors in 2020, where the historic innovations will impact on every aspect of our lives, spurring the inevitable rising demand for microchips. Here we can have a sneak peak of future factory through BACS™ Tube.
On December 3rd, executives of Kulicke & Soffa Pte. Ltd visited CrucialTrak Paygyo R&D Center and discussed implementing BACS™ Tube to their semiconductor assembly line. As Kulicke & Soffa has announced providing its equipment to the world biggest smartphone production line in China, 100 to 200 units of BACS™ Tube are expected to be installed in the factory. The installation of BACS™ Tube units will contribute to reduce the operation cost and improve the production efficiency.
Smart Factory is a highly digitized and connected production facility which is considered an important outcome of the Industry 4.0. As the whole production line is connected, only few operators are given the access so the value of industry security is enormous. With Iris and Face recognition technology, BACS™ Tube provides top-security level in any challenging environment and the industrial assets can be protected and efficiently monitored. BACS™ Tube is designed for industry automation and highly recommendable in critical infrastructures and R&D laboratories.
